Presented by the Office of the Governor, in partnership with Texas Workforce Commission, West San Antonio Chamber of Commerce, Texas Association of African American Chamber of Commerce and the Bexar County Small Business and Entrepreneurship Department, the event provides small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with timely, relevant, actionable advice on how to start, operate, grow and sustain their businesses. The forum celebrates African-American small business owners and entrepreneurs.
The Governor’s Small Business forum is taking place Thursday, December 13, and will conclude the 2018 events. The conference features private and public small business resources, practical solutions, best practices and expert assistance on a broad range of business topics and challenges. This event is also an opportunity to network with other entrepreneurs, business owners, managers, and business-oriented non-profits, as well as local, regional, state and federal agencies. The forum includes the Governor’s Small Business Awards to recognize outstanding businesses in Texas.
